JD Power Site Design & Implementation
When J.D. Power decided to redesign their consumer-facing portal, to address new business initiatives and increase their presence in the consumer shopping market, they enlisted Pinacol to step up to the plate to provide design and Flash development services to the effort.
Pinacol worked with J.D. Power to not only develop the entire site look-and-feel, but to create the Flash applications that would serve as the centerpiece of the site—from initial concepts/wireframes all the way through full development, testing, and data integration of each application.
Utilizing both top-flight creative and technical prowess, Pinacol developed visually-captivating Flash applications that parse and optimize XML data on the fly, to maintain quick load times, even with extremely large data files. We built them an ASP.Net framework to allow current information to flow to the site users.
Site pages built in ASP.NET; data integration handled in XML via .asp and Flash controllers.
